Biography

Peter Joannou is a Brighton based barber and men’s grooming specialist with decades of hands on experience in precision cutting, styling and consultation led client care. His work focuses on creating sharp, wearable looks that suit head shape, hair type and lifestyle, from classic short back and sides to modern textured styles, skin fades and longer scissor work.

During the late 1980s, Peter worked at the prestigious John Frieda salon in London’s West End, where he spent two years assisting renowned stylist Nicky Clarke. This formative experience instilled in him the core principles of delivering a five-star luxury service, a standard of excellence and client care that he has since committed to providing for every individual.

Clients visit for haircuts that last well between appointments, straightforward advice on styling at home, and grooming that feels considered rather than rushed. Beard trimming and line up work is approached with the same precision, ensuring balance through the cheeks, jawline and neckline, while keeping the result natural.

Alongside barbering, Peter offers scalp micropigmentation, also known as SMP, and tricopigmentation. These treatments are designed to create the appearance of hair follicles for a natural shaved look, or to add the look of density in thinning areas. Each plan starts with a focused consultation to assess suitability, discuss expectations, and agree a tailored approach to colour, hairline shape and progression. Results are built gradually for realism, with clear aftercare guidance and maintenance planning.
