Duration & Appointment Timing
Allow 30 minutes for the full service. First-time clients may wish to allow a couple of extra minutes for a quick consultation.
Booking before an important event? Same-day is usually fine, though if your skin is very sensitive you may prefer the day before.
Aftercare & Maintenance
Rinse with cool water later that day and avoid hot showers, heavy exfoliation, saunas or intense workouts for a few hours. Use a gentle moisturiser or balm and avoid alcohol-based splashes.
Mild redness is normal and should settle quickly. Apply SPF the next day if you are outdoors. Book whenever you want a fresh, clean shave, with many clients returning weekly or before meetings and occasions.

By far the best barber in Brighton, taking their time, the cut and shave is amazing. Attention to detail is spot on, I have never had a better cutthroat shave than here. Don't think there is better quality for money than from Peter, Josh and James.

I see josh twice a month for my hair cut and he does an amazing job. Every time he is always friendly and listens to what i want. I also really like Pete and James too. They are all very friendly and nice and welcoming. I can highly recommend a Facebuff and shave, which i had done by James when he joined the salon. Keep up the great work guys :-)

I've been going to Peter Joannou for my hair and beard trims for a couple of years now. Absolutely sensational service. The guys have mastered a perfect balance between a personal and professional service and clearly know how to look after their clients. Every time I'm in there, everyone seems happy, including other customers. It's a really nice place to be every couple of weeks for me, when I'm able to get in there for a trim. I occasionally have the Face Buff and Steam too, which is brilliant. My skin goes so clear and feels amazing afterwards. Price wise, it's spot on. I kept getting stung at women's salons in the city and seemed to always be paying over the odds. Thank you chaps for appreciating my business and always being incredibly humble.
